When people talk about swimwear, more specifically about designer swimwear, there is one common misconception. For some reason, people believe that only slim, fit, and beautiful people can aspire to wear designer swimwear. Such a belief is especially garnered by women; women believe that the most exclusive designers only worry about small, thin women. Because of this, most heavy women (and in a lesser degree, men) live their lives with a mild complex with what has to do with plus size swimwear. Some people stop wearing specific designs, and in more severe cases, they forego the beach and swimming pools all together. If you are one of those heavy persons who has come to believe that you have access to designer swimwear, then you should know that you are mistaken. Designer swimwear does not discriminate against age, size, skin color, creed, figure, etc. So, if you find that there’s a specific design that you absolutely love, go ahead and get it. If you can find it in your size, and if you can afford it, then don’t worry about anything or anyone else.
